Soccer Club of Springfield New Jersey

SYSL (Suburban Youth Soccer League)

Soccer Club of Springfield has a number of teams which participate in the  Suburban Youth Soccer League (SYSL). SYSL is a competitive/recreational league offered in both the Spring and the Fall, and open to both boys and girls born in Grade 2+.

The league is a federation of local soccer clubs based in Union, Middlesex and Essex counties. Most games are played within a 15 min radius.

Our SYSL program offers the opportunity to represent Springfield on a traveling soccer team, but with less of a commitment than that required for most travel sports.  Each team plays one game and has one coach practice per week, as well as a professional trainer-led practice every other week.

There are no tryouts for SYSL and the program is open to players of all ability levels. Teams are generally kept together from season to season, and the level of competition ("flights") is determined via past team performance.

SYSL fees are $150 per season, plus the cost of a uniform which can be used from season to season, as long as it fits.

Please be aware that teams are filled on a first-come-first-served basis, and once registration closes, or teams are filled, you might not be able to join this program.

Registration is open on the SCS Website (https://www.soccerclubofspringfield.com/)
Register your child for SPRING season by Aug 11th, 2024.
